I’d never heard of Musikfest before I moved to the Lehigh Valley, apparently because living in the Philly metro area rendered me clueless to what was happening a mere 6o miles away. 🙂 At any rate, Musikfest is a festival that is celebrating its 29th year this year and welcomes thousands of visitors from the Valley and way beyond. Some of the artists/bands that will be there this year include: Boston, Daughtry, Sheryl Crow, Jane’s Addiction, and the Goo Goo Dolls. The big names, however, are sometimes eclipsed by the lesser known acts that climb the stages at various ‘platzs’ in Bethlehem, if only because they’re trying harder to increase their fan base. If you’re in the Lehigh Valley/Philadelphia/NY Metro area, consider making the trip to Bethlehem, PA, to enjoy Musikfest. You’ll be glad you did.
